FSC-Certified Wood Decking

Certified wood products are verified by a third party as originating from well-managed forests. GreenSpec recognizes the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards as the most rigorous and the only certification system with well-established chain-of-custody certification. Some companies listed here sell both certified and noncertified wood products, or products that have been certified according to different, less stringent environmental standards. To make certain that you get environmentally responsible wood products, be sure to specify your interest in FSC-certified wood.

What products are actually FSC?
by Brent Ehrlich

You raise a valid point. Disdero does have FSC certification, but that product information should be readily available in order to be listed in GreenSpec. Since that information is no longer on the website, we have decided to remove Disdero from our product database.
